Battle of Purusharthas Gameplay Tables
The heart of the event was the Battle of Purusharthas gameplay tables. Six vibrant stations buzzed with excitement as teams presented their pitches for the game and guided participants through gameplay. The creativity didn’t stop there—some tables invented their own rules, like trading cards for strategic advantage, adding an extra layer of fun and competition. Memory Maya, Clash of Dynasties, Vice2Virtue and Ramayana Match Up Game Play Tables
The stage came alive with a quartet of captivating plays.
Memory Maya: Based on the Bhagavad Gita, this performance delved into the journey of memory and mindfulness, captivating the audience with its thought-provoking theme.
Clash of Dynasties (COD): Inspired by the Mahabharata, COD brought epic conflicts to life, blending intense drama with moral lessons, all while Sage Vyasa is the Master Negotiator!
Vice2Virtue (V2V): A playful yet profound take on Bhagavad Gita teachings, V2V showcased the transition from weaknesses to strengths in a way that resonated with all.
Ramayana Match Up : A fast paced game with cards with Qs & As on the epic for dynamic play in testing knowledge, deeper discussion on the stories and role playing
Laughter, reflection, and applause filled the air as these skits engaged hearts and minds.
Art – Creating Ramayana Picture Magnets
The art section invited participants to craft Ramayana-inspired picture magnets. These miniature masterpieces, featuring iconic moments from the epic, blended creativity with storytelling. Attendees relished creating their personalized keepsakes, making this a colorful and cherished highlight of the day.
The Art of Storytelling with Mudras – Teacher Tatyana Popova
Tatyana’s interactive session on storytelling through mudras was nothing short of mesmerizing. She demonstrated how these ancient gestures could convey profound emotions and narratives, making the Ramayana come alive. Participants eagerly joined in, learning to express stories through the graceful language of their hands.
The Post-Apocalyptic Ayodhya-Kahoots Game:
Participants dived into a thrilling Kahoot game set in a post-apocalyptic Ayodhya. With an undead zombie Ravana and his henchmen as adversaries, teams tackled challenges rooted in Dharma, Artha, Kama, and Moksha. The game’s clever twists, rapid pace, and competitive spirit kept everyone on their toes. Victorious teams celebrated with cheers and high-fives in this uniquely engaging adventure, saving Ayodhya from the attack!
Kaikeyi's Kitchen
The samplings were a feast of creativity and culinary art, bringing Ramayana-inspired dishes to life. Among the highlights were Mandodari’s Mango Rice, a tangy-sweet delight; Sita’s Divine Payasam, a heavenly treat; Hanuman’s Coconut Energy Balls, a burst of flavor and strength. Ahalya’s Athirasam added a nostalgic touch, while Sabhari's Forest Fruit Salad captured the wild and vibrant essence of the Ramayana forests. Attendees eagerly lined up to sample these innovative dishes, savoring the stories and flavors that each plate carried. This culinary journey was a celebration of culture, taste, and storytelling, leaving everyone craving for more.

Every great event deserves a great keepsake! This year’s custom-designed T-shirt was a hit among the team. Featuring playful Bee Hive design inspired by the Gita Vicara Leadership Program, it became a symbol of the event’s vibrant spirit and a treasured memento for everyone involved.
Inter generational Vibe

A highlight of the event was honoring Ankur Raghavan, a Freshman at Purdue and a long term member from the Gita Vicara Leadership Program (GVLP) with a scholarship. The Gita Vicara Leadership Program’s pitch outlined its vision for the upcoming year, highlighting bold initiatives and inspiring projects. Juniors Adi and Tara, along with Sanskriti, delivered a compelling presentation that touched on the program’s three pillars: Wisdom Teachings, Games for Seva, and Leadership through Seva & Community Projects.
